So what is this site exactly?
Welcome to Build a Better Stream! I’m a big fan of Twitch, Mixer, and of livestreaming in general. I have been following many different streamers over the past while, and noticed that there was little in terms of resources to help new Twitch streamers get started. How do you draw an audience, should I create a website, should I join a community, what should I stream, I’ve seen new streamers ask all kinds of questions – and unless you’ve seen an interview with an established streamer, or they decided to release a video about how they made their channel – you’ll never really know if you’re doing it right.
A lot of this information is out there, but it’s a little difficult to go through. So I thought, why not just put it all in one place for everyone to get? I created this site to help give you the information that everyone else has, in an effort to help you build the Twitch channel you’ve been dreaming about. It’s as much as I could find, all of it free for you to use at your leisure.
I’ll also blog about other topics – video games, livestreaming in general, sometimes I may get a little deep, like the politics of Twitch, where it could be headed next – it’s all in a effort to get talking about topics we might not even be considering.
